[Item 11: FRANCHISOR'S ASSISTANCE, ADVERTISING, COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND TRAINING]
During the operation of your Center, we will:

- Send a corporate trainer to your Center to provide 2 days of onsite training and operational support within 30 days after your Center opens. (§6.3)

- Grant you a license to utilize BCP-LMS, as discussed below under "Computer System". (§6.2)

- Provide our guidance and recommendations on ways to improve the operation of your Center. (§6.4)
Computer System (§6.2, 11.6, 11.7, 11.8, 16.3 & 17.1)
You must purchase and use all Technology Systems we designate from time to time. You must purchase a computer system that includes the following components:
- minimum of 1 desktop, 2 laptops and 2 tablets with high-speed internet access
- 2 printers (one large and one small)
- Microsoft Office (recent edition)
- QuickBooks Online
- BCP-LMS
We estimate the initial cost of your computer system (excluding the Systems Implementation Fee) will range from $2,000 to $3,000 (assumes you lease and do not purchase a large printer). You must also pay the $2,000 Systems Implementation Fee for the initial setup and configuration of BCP-LMS (fee does not apply to renewing franchisees). As further detailed in Item 6 you pay: (a) monthly technology fees to us for certain software, technology and related services that we (or our affiliate) provide (currently 1 email account and a license to Google suite products); and (b) BCP-LMS Monthly Fees to LBIS for use of BCP-LMS.
You will use the computer system to: register and enroll students; manage student and parent contact information; track student performance; maintain student records; access and print educational materials; administer digital curriculum for students enrolled in virtual/online courses; prepare mass emails and mailings; perform accounting and electronic invoicing functions; process payments; and prepare operational reports.
You must maintain the computer system in good condition at your cost. We may require that you upgrade, update or otherwise change your computer system and other Technology Systems to conform to our then-current specifications. There is no contractual limitation on the frequency or cost of these updates, upgrades or changes.
Your computer system collects data regarding your students' records, invoices and financial transactions. We have independent unlimited access to this data.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, Best In Class Education Center grants franchisees a license to utilize BCP-LMS during the operation of their center. BCP-LMS, or Best In Class Education Center Proprietary Learning Management System, is a key component of the franchise's required technology systems. Franchisees are required to purchase and use all designated technology systems, including BCP-LMS.
The computer system, including BCP-LMS, is used for various functions such as student registration and enrollment, managing contact information, tracking student performance, maintaining records, accessing educational materials, administering digital curriculum, preparing communications, performing accounting, processing payments, and generating reports. Franchisees must also pay a $2,000 system implementation fee for the initial setup and configuration of BCP-LMS, though this fee is waived for renewing franchisees. In addition to the implementation fee, franchisees will incur ongoing BCP-LMS Monthly Fees to LBIS for the use of BCP-LMS.
Best In Class Education Center may change the required technology systems from time to time, and franchisees are responsible for maintaining the computer system in good condition at their own cost. The franchisor has independent, unlimited access to the data collected by the computer system, which includes student records, invoices, and financial transactions. Franchisees should be aware that Best In Class Education Center may require upgrades, updates, or other changes to the computer system, and there are no contractual limitations on the frequency or cost of these changes.
