- "Teacher" means any Person who teaches classes or provides tutoring at your Center.
- "Technology Systems" means and includes all information and communication technology systems we specify from time to time, including, without limitation, computer systems, point-of-sale systems, learning systems, printing systems, webcam systems, telecommunications systems, security systems, music systems and similar systems, together with the associated hardware, software (including cloud-based software) and related equipment, software applications, mobile apps, and third-party services relating to the establishment, use, maintenance, monitoring, security or improvement of these systems.

According to Best In Class Education Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Third-Party Technology refers to any Technology Systems, or components of those systems, that are owned by entities not affiliated with Best In Class Education Center. Technology Systems encompass a broad range of information and communication technologies, including computer systems, point-of-sale systems, learning systems, printing systems, webcam systems, telecommunications systems, security systems, music systems, and similar systems. These systems include associated hardware, software (including cloud-based software), related equipment, software applications, mobile apps, and third-party services used for the establishment, maintenance, monitoring, security, or improvement of these systems.
As a Best In Class Education Center franchisee, it's important to understand that Best In Class Education Center does not own certain technology systems you'll be required to use. Therefore, Best In Class Education Center bears no liability for any losses, damages, or expenses you incur if this Third-Party Technology malfunctions. Franchisees waive any claims against Best In Class Education Center or its affiliates relating to Third-Party Technology and acknowledge that their only recourse for issues with such technology is against the owner or licensor of that technology.
Best In Class Education Center may enter into master agreements with licensors of Third-Party Technology and subsequently charge franchisees for their use of this technology. This charge would be part of the overall technology fee, which may also include amounts for proprietary technology and administrative fees for managing the technology platform and contracts. However, the technology fee does not include amounts franchisees pay directly to third-party suppliers. Franchisees are responsible for all fees, costs, and expenses associated with acquiring, licensing, utilizing, updating, and upgrading Technology Systems.
