Answer from 2025 FDD Document

For purposes of this section, a "Legacy Center" refers to a Center owned by a renewing franchisee who: (i) purchased the Center from our predecessor, Best In Class Education Center, LLC; (ii) did not sign a Remote Learning Participation Addendum with Best In Class E-Academy, LLC; and (c) elects to continue to acquire and obtain educational materials from LBIS through the BC Portal without utilization of LMS.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, the 'BC Portal' is referenced in the context of Monthly Student User Fees for renewing franchisees operating a 'Legacy Center.' A Legacy Center is defined as a center owned by a renewing franchisee who purchased it from Best In Class Education Center, LLC's predecessor, did not sign a Remote Learning Participation Addendum with Best In Class E-Academy, LLC, and elects to continue acquiring educational materials from LBIS through the BC Portal without using the Learning Management System (LMS).

This implies that the BC Portal is a platform through which these specific franchisees obtain educational materials. The FDD indicates that Best In Class Education Center may discontinue the licensing of the BC Portal to Centers at any time.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the availability and use of the BC Portal are subject to change. Newer franchisees may not have access to the BC Portal, and even Legacy Center franchisees could see their access discontinued. It would be prudent for a potential franchisee to inquire about the long-term plans for the BC Portal and whether it will continue to be supported as a means of accessing educational materials.
