What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, each teacher must sign a Confidentiality Agreement. A teacher is defined as any individual hired who satisfies the minimum competency standards required by Best In Class Education Center. The franchisee must also conduct a reasonable background check on each teacher and cannot hire anyone with a criminal record or whose background check raises concerns about their character or qualifications.

Best In Class Education Center may impose additional qualifications for teachers and require periodic refresher training as part of their teacher certification program. The franchisor reserves the right to charge a fee of up to $200 per teacher for the initial certification program and up to $100 per teacher for each recertification program. These fees are due before attendance at the program.

The FDD also states that the franchisee must determine appropriate staffing levels to ensure compliance with the agreement and system standards. The franchisee is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising employees, as well as paying all associated wages, commissions, benefits, worker's compensation premiums, and payroll taxes. The franchisee must also inform their employees that they exclusively supervise their activities and dictate how they perform their tasks, using their legal business entity name on all employment-related documents.
