What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all travel-related expenses for any training programs. This includes initial training as well as any additional training programs that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing may require or offer.
Specifically, the franchisee must cover all travel expenses, living expenses, wages, and other expenses incurred by their trainees. This can include costs for transportation, accommodation, food, and the wages of the employees while they are attending the training.
However, if Benjamin Franklin Plumbing conducts training at a location other than their headquarters, the franchisee may be required to pay the reasonable travel, meal, and lodging expenses for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's trainers. This could add a significant cost to the training expenses, depending on the location and duration of the training.
