What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use the payment methods designated by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for all amounts payable to them and their affiliates. Currently, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing requires payment by Automated Clearing House (ACH), or electronic funds transfer.
As a prospective Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchisee, this means you will need to designate an account at a commercial bank of your choice when signing the Franchise Agreement. This requirement ensures that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing can efficiently collect fees such as the Royalty Fee, which is 6% of Gross Revenue or $1,500 per month (whichever is greater), as well as other fees like the Technology Fee of $100 per month. It is important to note that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing retains the right to change the required payment methods in the future.
