What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, the royalty fee payment schedule is detailed in the Brand Appendix. The FDD specifies that unless Benjamin Franklin Plumbing designates a different period, the royalty fee will be paid on the schedule outlined in this Brand Appendix.
This means that a prospective franchisee needs to refer to the Brand Appendix to understand the exact frequency of royalty payments, whether it's weekly, monthly, or another schedule. The Brand Fund contribution, according to the document, is calculated and paid in the same manner as the royalty fee, so understanding the royalty fee schedule also clarifies the Brand Fund contribution schedule.
It is important for potential franchisees to carefully review the Brand Appendix and clarify any uncertainties regarding the payment schedule with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Understanding the payment terms is crucial for managing cash flow and financial planning for the franchise.
