What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is not obligated to establish a Franchisee Portal. The document states that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has the right, but not the obligation, to establish websites and/or mobile applications that are open only to franchisees, referred to as the "Franchisee Portal."

If Benjamin Franklin Plumbing does establish a Franchisee Portal, franchisees are required to use it for purposes such as reporting, training, and ordering merchandise and supplies, as directed by the franchisor. This means that while a franchisee cannot count on a portal being available, they must be prepared to utilize it should Benjamin Franklin Plumbing decide to implement one.

Furthermore, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing can suspend access to the Franchisee Portal if a franchisee fails to pay amounts owed or comply with the terms of the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of adhering to the agreement to maintain access to potentially crucial resources and technology systems provided by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.
