All notices, requests and approvals under this Guarantee shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been properly given if and when personally delivered, or five (5) days after being sent by certified or registered mail, postage prepaid, return receipt requested, or thirty-six (36) hours after being sent by Federal Express or other overnight courier service providing delivery confirmation, to the address of the party set forth below or at such other address as any of the parties hereto from time to time may have designated by written notice to the other party.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, all notices, requests, and approvals related to the guarantee must be in writing. These communications are considered properly delivered when they are personally delivered.
Alternatively, these written notices, requests, and approvals can be sent via certified or registered mail, with postage prepaid and a return receipt requested. In this case, they are deemed delivered five days after being sent.
As another option, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing allows for delivery via Federal Express or another overnight courier service that provides delivery confirmation. Using this method, the communication is considered delivered 36 hours after being sent. All communications should be sent to the address of the relevant party, or to any other address that the party has designated in writing.
