What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has the right to monitor franchisees in the following ways: accessing all Business Data, verifying sales, monitoring franchisees' progress (including compliance with Minimum Performance Requirements), and preparing a financial performance representation for the Franchise Disclosure Document. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing can independently access all Business Data, regardless of where it is stored. They also have the right to demand that franchisees deliver Business Data to them.

This means that as a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchisee, you must provide access to your business data and deliver it to the franchisor when requested. This data is used to verify your sales figures, track your progress in meeting performance benchmarks, and contribute to the financial information presented in Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's Franchise Disclosure Document.

The franchisor's access to business data is a standard practice in franchising, allowing them to ensure brand consistency, track overall system performance, and provide support to franchisees. Franchisees should maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business transactions and be prepared to share this information with the franchisor promptly.

It is important to note that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing also owns and has the right to access all Customer Data. Franchisees are required to implement and maintain security measures to protect Customer Data from unauthorized access or disclosure. This highlights the importance of data privacy and security within the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise system.
