According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, specifics regarding brand programs can be found in the Brand Appendix. Franchisees are required to participate in any programs that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing prescribes for franchised businesses, as detailed in this appendix.
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing assesses franchisees' compliance with brand standards through various methods, including customer satisfaction surveys, mystery shopper reports, employee surveys, health and safety reviews, and third-party observations. Franchisees must cooperate with these assessments. Failure to meet the minimum prescribed score or standard in a specific brand standards category may result in mandatory additional training for the franchisee and/or their employees, at the franchisee's expense.
Additionally, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has the right to establish websites and mobile applications accessible only to franchisees, known as the Franchisee Portal. If applicable, franchisees are required to use this portal for reporting, training, ordering merchandise and supplies, or other purposes as directed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Franchisees are also required to participate in programs related to gift cards, online coupons, mobile ordering systems, and customer loyalty programs, which may necessitate the purchase of additional equipment. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing also has the right to mandate that franchisees purchase equipment, technology, inventory, and other products from approved vendors or single sources to ensure brand consistency.
