- 1.2. "Approved Location" means the street address or specific site that we have approved for your business premises, as shown on the cover page of this Agreement.
If the Approved Location has not been determined when we sign this Agreement, you are required to obtain our approval of a location within three (3) months after signing this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Approved Location' is defined as the specific street address or site that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has approved for the franchisee's business premises. This location will be listed on the cover page of the Franchise Agreement.
If the Approved Location has not been determined by the time the Franchise Agreement is signed, the franchisee is responsible for obtaining Benjamin Franklin Plumbing's approval of a location within three months of signing the agreement. Once Benjamin Franklin Plumbing approves the location, they will either add the address to the cover page of the agreement or confirm the approved address to the franchisee in writing.
This definition is important because the franchisee is granted the right to operate their Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise at the Approved Location only. The franchisee is also obligated to comply with the terms of the lease or sublease for the Approved Location and must maintain a good relationship with the landlord. Furthermore, upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has the right to acquire the lease for the Approved Location.
