Annex_Brands Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If you convert an existing business to a standard or flex retail center, you must pay us a $4,000 conversion training fee when you sign the franchise agreement, unless you already own and operate one of our retail centers or one of our Commercial Logistics Centers. This fee is nonrefundable and is uniform for all conversion franchisees. See Items 7 and 11.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a $4,000 conversion training fee is typically required when converting an existing business to a standard or flex retail center. However, this fee is waived if the franchisee already owns and operates one of Annex Brands' retail centers or one of their Commercial Logistics Centers. This waiver applies uniformly to all conversion franchisees who meet this specific condition.
For prospective franchisees considering converting an existing business, this represents a significant potential cost savings if they already have an established presence within the Annex Brands system. It incentivizes existing franchisees to expand their operations by converting additional locations without incurring the conversion training fee.
It is important to note that this waiver is specifically tied to already being an Annex Brands franchisee. New franchisees converting an existing business will still be responsible for the $4,000 conversion training fee. Franchisees should carefully review Item 5 of the FDD and consult with Annex Brands to confirm their eligibility for this waiver based on their specific circumstances.
