What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain prior written consent from Annex Brands before making any material alterations to the franchise center as originally developed or approved. This includes replacements of leasehold improvements, furnishings, equipment, displays, signs, or graphics. Annex Brands retains the right to mandate changes, replacements, or modifications not previously approved, and the franchisee is responsible for covering these expenses.

Annex Brands emphasizes the importance of maintaining a uniform image across all franchise locations. Franchisees are required to use only signs, logos, emblems, lettering, graphics, and display materials that have been approved or designated in writing by Annex Brands. This ensures brand consistency and contributes to the overall reputation and goodwill of the franchise system.

Furthermore, Annex Brands may periodically require franchisees to update or change their computer systems to maintain operational efficiency and communication capabilities. These updates, changes, modifications, substitutions, and/or replacements to computer hardware, software, and related facilities are at the franchisee's expense. The franchisee is also responsible for keeping their computer systems in good maintenance and repair. This ensures that all centers are technologically aligned with Annex Brands' standards and can effectively communicate within the franchise network.
