What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Annex Brands offered Annex Copy Center franchises from 2014 to 2019. These franchises operated in a similar line of business to their other retail center franchise offerings. This means that Annex Brands is no longer offering new Annex Copy Center franchises as of the FDD date.
For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that while the Annex Brands portfolio has included copy center-focused locations in the past, the current focus is on standard retail centers, flex retail centers, and commercial logistics centers. The company's strategy may have shifted away from dedicated copy centers, or they may have integrated those services into their broader retail center models.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand why Annex Brands discontinued offering Annex Copy Center franchises. Understanding the reasons behind this decision can provide valuable insights into the company's strategic direction and the potential risks and opportunities associated with their current franchise offerings. A prospective franchisee should inquire about the performance of the Annex Copy Center franchises during their operational period and the reasons for their discontinuation to better assess the viability and focus of the current franchise models offered by Annex Brands.
