What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the national convention registration fee covers a proportionate share of Annex Brands' out-of-pocket costs for hosting, meals, and convention activities. Attendance at the full program of each national convention, as well as staying at the designated hotel, is mandatory for franchisees and/or their designated personnel. Franchisees are also responsible for covering their own travel and incidental expenses.

The FDD specifies that the national convention registration fee is assessed per person attending the convention. The national convention participation deposits will be applied to the national convention registration fee and for the national convention hotel fee for the next national convention. If these deposits are insufficient to cover the fees, Annex Brands has the right to debit the franchisee's bank account for the difference.

The national convention registration fee is separate from the national convention hotel fee, which covers the room charge, taxes, and fees for one room at the convention hotel during the convention dates. Franchisees are responsible for any additional rooms beyond the one covered by the hotel fee. The FDD notes that Annex Brands may hold a national convention approximately every 10 to 18 months. The franchisee must pay travel and incidental expenses for themselves and/or their personnel who attend.
