How much notice will Annex Brands give before withdrawing consent for a franchisee's website?

Annex_Brands Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may not maintain another website without our prior written consent. (The terms "Franchisor's prior written consent", and "our prior written consent", as used in the franchise agreement, and its attachments, and this Agreement, mean consent that is given by Franchisor based on then-current circumstances, but that may be

withdrawn by Franchisor, if Franchisor later determines in its sole discretion that circumstances have changed, effective upon giving Franchisee 30 days' prior written notice of withdrawal.)

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, Annex Brands requires franchisees to obtain prior written consent before maintaining their own website. This consent, however, can be withdrawn if Annex Brands determines that circumstances have changed.

Specifically, Annex Brands will provide the franchisee with 30 days' prior written notice before withdrawing its consent. This allows the franchisee time to adjust their online presence and marketing strategies accordingly.

This policy ensures that Annex Brands maintains control over its brand's online representation and can adapt to changing market conditions. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that while they may have the opportunity to create a website, Annex Brands retains the right to revoke that permission with 30 days' notice.
