What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Intranet, newsgroups, bulletins, and libraries are primarily intended for use by Annex Brands and its franchisees. These platforms are designed to facilitate communication and support within the franchise network, offering a private space for sharing information and best practices. Franchisees are expected to regularly monitor these resources.
Annex Brands retains the right to monitor the newsgroups and any email activity conducted through the provided usernames and passwords. This oversight allows Annex Brands to ensure compliance with their Internet Code of Conduct and maintain the integrity of the information shared. Content that violates this code can be removed by Annex Brands.
It's important to note that Annex Brands can terminate or suspend a franchisee's access to these Intranet resources without terminating the entire Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of adhering to the established code of conduct and utilizing these platforms appropriately. The FDD specifies that these resources are not intended for the general public, emphasizing their role as internal communication and support tools for the Annex Brands franchise system.
