You understand that unauthorized persons may gain access to our Intranet.
You specifically understand that you have no expectation of privacy with respect to any email or other data or transmission created, transmitted, retrieved or stored through our Intranet or otherwise communicated to or from us.
We may access, review and monitor all such transmissions, email and data, at any time, for any reason, without prior notice to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees should not expect privacy when using the Annex Brands Intranet. Annex Brands explicitly states that unauthorized persons may gain access to their Intranet.
Annex Brands also states that franchisees have no expectation of privacy regarding any data, email, or transmissions created, transmitted, retrieved, or stored through their Intranet, or otherwise communicated to or from them. Annex Brands reserves the right to access, review, and monitor all such transmissions, email, and data at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice to the franchisee.
This policy means that Annex Brands can monitor franchisee communications and data on the Intranet without the franchisee's knowledge or consent. Franchisees should be aware that any information shared on the Intranet is not considered private and could be accessed by Annex Brands. This is a fairly common practice, as franchisors often monitor internal communications to ensure compliance and protect their brand.
