Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may not maintain another website without our prior written consent. (The terms "Franchisor's prior written consent", and "our prior written consent", as used in the franchise agreement, and its attachments, and this Agreement, mean consent that is given by Franchisor based on then-current circumstances, but that may be

withdrawn by Franchisor, if Franchisor later determines in its sole discretion that circumstances have changed, effective upon giving Franchisee 30 days' prior written notice of withdrawal.)

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may not maintain another website without prior written consent from Annex Brands. This consent is based on the circumstances at the time, but Annex Brands can withdraw it with 30 days' written notice if they determine the circumstances have changed.

Annex Brands may create a website to promote the franchisee's center. The franchisee's website will be accessible to anyone with internet access. The initial fee for creating and posting standard web pages is included in the technology services fee, but Annex Brands reserves the right to change this in the future. Annex Brands will design the content of the standard web pages.

If Annex Brands offers customization services, the franchisee can request customization of their standard web pages or have Annex Brands create a customized website. Annex Brands will not begin any design or programming work that incurs additional charges without the franchisee's prior written approval. The franchisee will be charged at Annex Brands' current rate for design or programming services, and there may be an annual fee for maintaining the customized website. Annex Brands will design the layout, create the programming code, and test the programming code.

Annex Brands owns all rights to advertising space on the franchisee's web pages or website and may include advertising or links to third-party websites. The franchisee must notify Annex Brands of any websites that feature or list them as a franchisee and of any new websites as they periodically list them. The franchisee's website will be a subdirectory under Annex Brands' domain name unless Annex Brands provides prior written consent for a separate domain name. Annex Brands may modify the format or content of the franchisee's web pages or website periodically without prior notice.
