What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with various federal, state, and local laws and regulations. One specific requirement is adherence to USPS regulations, which includes filing a USPS Form 1583 for each mailbox customer they service. This form is a notification to U.S. Postmasters.

This requirement means that Annex Brands franchisees offering mailbox rental services must diligently maintain and submit USPS Form 1583 for every customer who rents a mailbox at their location. This ensures compliance with postal regulations and helps prevent illegal activities such as mail fraud. Failing to comply with this regulation could result in penalties or legal issues for the franchisee.

In addition to the USPS form, Annex Brands franchisees must also comply with customer return addressing requirements. This means franchisees need to stay informed about current postal regulations and implement procedures to ensure they are followed. This compliance is crucial for maintaining a good standing with the USPS and providing reliable service to mailbox customers.
