May Annex Brands establish a private Intranet for its franchisees?

We also may establish a private Intranet, newsgroups, bulletin boards, or libraries for our franchisees that can be accessed only by means of user names and passwords. You must follow our policies and procedures. We may change your password without notice if an alleged compromise exists. We may suspend your access to our Intranet if we give you written notice that you are in default of the franchise agreement. See Attachment 8 to the franchise agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Annex Brands may establish a private Intranet, newsgroups, bulletin boards, or libraries for its franchisees. This Intranet can only be accessed using usernames and passwords. Franchisees are required to adhere to Annex Brands' policies and procedures when using the Intranet.
Annex Brands retains the right to change a franchisee's password without prior notice if a security compromise is suspected. Additionally, Annex Brands can suspend a franchisee's access to the Intranet if they are given written notice that the franchisee is in default of the franchise agreement.
This means that as an Annex Brands franchisee, you will be expected to use the Intranet according to the franchisor's rules. Your access can be revoked if you violate the franchise agreement, and you should be aware that your password may be changed without notice if there are security concerns.
