What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Annex Brands maintains control over the content of its corporate website. The FDD states that Annex Brands may maintain a corporate website to advertise and promote its franchise system, as well as the products and services marketed by both the company and its franchisees. However, the content featured on the corporate website is under the sole discretion and control of Annex Brands.
This means that franchisees do not have direct control over what is published on the corporate website. Annex Brands has the authority to determine the website's content, design, and overall message. This is a common practice in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain a consistent brand image and marketing strategy across the entire system.
While franchisees may not control the corporate website, Annex Brands may also establish a private Intranet area, newsgroups, bulletin boards, or libraries for its franchisees. Franchisees are expected to monitor these platforms regularly. Annex Brands retains the right to monitor these platforms and remove content that does not comply with their Internet Code of Conduct. Franchisees also agree to follow Annex Brands' policies and procedures when using email marketing programs, social media platforms, online directory listings, or other networking platforms. Annex Brands may publish, update, or remove content at any time, in its sole discretion.
