What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, in addition to Annex Brands itself, a regional licensee for the franchisee's brand and geographic area may also assist in preparing the franchisee for initial training. Annex Brands and the regional licensee will provide initial and other training before the franchisee opens their retail center, assumes operation of an existing retail center by transfer, or converts an existing business to a retail center.
This means that prospective Annex Brands franchisees may receive support and guidance from both the national franchisor and a local or regional representative. The regional licensee's involvement could provide more localized expertise and support, which can be beneficial for understanding regional market dynamics and customer needs.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand the roles and responsibilities of both Annex Brands and any regional licensee involved in their training and ongoing support. Franchisees should inquire about the specific experience and qualifications of the regional licensee and how they will collaborate with Annex Brands to ensure consistent training and operational standards.
