Provide you with, or provide you the names of approved suppliers for, certain equipment, interior and exterior signage, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies, and provide you with specifications for equipment, interior and exterior signage, fixtures, inventory, and supplies (franchise agreement, Subsections 9.B, 9.C, and 9.E). For example, we or approved suppliers provide you with (and deliver to you): (a) a retail center package that includes fixtures (counters, slat walls, accessories for slat walls, carton walls, mailbox holders, cabinetry, trim, etc.), mailboxes, package lockers, and flooring; (b) interior and exterior signage; and (c) other equipment, computer hardware, software programs and licenses, initial inventory, and supplies (see Item 5). What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Annex Brands currently stands as the sole approved supplier for the retail center package. This package encompasses a range of essential fixtures, including counters, slat walls, accessories, carton walls, mailbox holders, cabinetry, trim, mailboxes, package lockers, and flooring.
This arrangement means that new franchisees are obligated to purchase this specific package directly from Annex Brands. While this could ensure consistency across all franchise locations, it also limits the franchisee's ability to shop around for potentially lower prices or alternative suppliers.
It's important to note that Annex Brands retains the right to designate other approved suppliers in the future. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the potential for this policy to change and whether there are any conditions under which they might be able to source these items from alternative vendors.
