What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Annex Brands's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in a local or regional advertising association. The advertising association fee is paid monthly and is the greater of $150 or 1% of gross receipts. These fees are remitted either to the association or directly to Annex Brands, at their discretion. Payments are made via automatic bank draft.
In addition to the standard advertising association fees, the board of directors of the local or regional association has the authority to impose special assessments on its members periodically. These special assessments would be in addition to the standard monthly fee.
As with other fees, Annex Brands notes that the advertising association fees are subject to change; however, any changes will not unreasonably increase the franchisee's obligations. Annex Brands will provide at least 15 days' advance notice of any fee increase.
