According to the 2025 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training takes place over five business days. Each day of training begins at approximately 8:00 AM and concludes around 5:00 PM. The training sessions are held at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s principal offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, or at another location to be determined.

Prospective franchisees should note that attendance at this initial training is mandatory for the Principal Operator and any other director, officer, or shareholder of the franchisee entity that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? requires to attend. While there is currently no charge for this initial training for required attendees, franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and living expenses for themselves and their attendees. However, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? provides continental breakfasts, lunches, and one dinner on training days.

Beyond the initial training, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? also requires franchisees, their Principal Operators, employees, and representatives to attend periodic refresher, service, and management training courses. These additional training sessions may be delivered in person or via electronic means like webinars. Franchisees are responsible for training fees and all associated travel and living expenses for these additional training programs.

In addition to classroom training, in-field training is also required before commencing operations. This involves shadowing various roles within an existing franchise, such as Truck Team Member, Field Operations Manager, and Franchise Partner, typically lasting five business days. This in-field training may take place in the Nashville area (East), Las Vegas (West), or another location to be determined.
