What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be eligible for up to three additional renewal terms of five years each. After these three terms, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? may offer further renewal terms at their discretion to qualified franchisees, according to their policy at that time.

To renew the franchise, the franchisee must be in full compliance with the Franchise Agreement and must not have committed any stated defaults. Additionally, the franchisee must provide written notice of their intent to renew, meet the then-current requirements for franchisees, sign the current form of the Franchise Agreement (which may contain materially different terms), pay a renewal fee, and upgrade their vehicles.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that while the initial agreement grants three additional terms, these are not guaranteed. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has the discretion to offer subsequent renewals beyond the initial three, and the terms of the renewal agreement may differ significantly from the original. Franchisees should maintain excellent standing and be prepared to meet any new requirements to maximize their chances of renewal.
