What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise Disclosure Document, prospective franchisees are expected to acknowledge their understanding of the information within the disclosure documents and franchise agreement. To ensure comprehension, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? includes a Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire and Certification (Exhibit J) that contains specific questions about the FDD and Franchise Agreement.
Specifically, Question 4 in the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire asks: "Do you understand all of the information contained in the Disclosure Document?" If the answer is "No", the questionnaire asks you to specify which parts of the Disclosure Document you do not understand. Similarly, Question 6 asks: "Do you understand all of the information contained in the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Agreement and each exhibit and schedule attached to it?" Again, if the answer is "No", you are asked to specify which parts of the agreement you do not understand.
