What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the territory granted to a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchisee is defined by the area identified on a schedule labeled "Territory" attached to the Franchise Agreement. If applicable, subterritories are defined by schedules labeled "Subterritory 1A" through "Subterritory "__".
For 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises using zip codes to define territories or subterritories, the in-effect zip codes as of the effective date of the agreement will be used for area determination. In case of discrepancies between zip codes and the map for a territory or subterritory, the map will take precedence.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the attached schedules defining their territory and any subterritories, paying close attention to the effective dates and any discrepancies between zip codes and maps. It is important to understand the exact boundaries of the granted territory, as the franchise rights do not extend beyond these defined areas.
