What does 1-800-GOT-JUNK? designate for the franchisee before they open their business?

A. Before you open your business, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? will:
1. designate a protected territory (see Franchise Agreement, Section 2.2); 4899-8658-3815.1
2. provide artwork for advertising use, a list of exclusive suppliers of marketing materials, and designated or approved suppliers for your vehicles, truck chassis, dump bodies, signage, decals and vehicle wraps (see Franchise Agreement, Section 5.1). We do not deliver or install decals or signage;
3. provide an initial inventory of supplies to be used in operating your Franchised Business (see Franchise Agreement, Section 16.1);
4. provide you with electronic access to the confidential and copyright-protected series of System manuals, as revised periodically (collectively, the “Operations Manual”) (see Franchise Agreement, Section 2.1(c)) (a copy of the Table of Contents of the Operations Manual is attached as Exhibit C to the disclosure document.); the Operations Manual contains a total of 125 pages; you may not copy the Operations Manual other than in the normal operation of the Franchised Business without our permission; and
5. provide an initial training program for your Principal Operator and any other director, officer, or shareholder of your entity that we require, which you both must complete to our satisfaction (see Franchise Agreement, Section 11.2). An outline of the initial training is further below.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise Disclosure Document, before a franchisee opens their business, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? will designate a protected territory for the franchisee. This protected territory is detailed in Section 2.2 of the Franchise Agreement.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? will also provide artwork for advertising, along with a list of exclusive suppliers for marketing materials. They will also provide a list of designated or approved suppliers for vehicles, truck chassis, dump bodies, signage, decals, and vehicle wraps. However, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? does not handle the delivery or installation of decals or signage.
In addition, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? provides an initial inventory of supplies necessary for operating the franchised business, as specified in Section 16.1 of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees also receive electronic access to the confidential and copyright-protected Operations Manual, which contains 125 pages. The franchisee is restricted from copying the Operations Manual, except for normal business operations, without explicit permission. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? also provides an initial training program for the Principal Operator and any other required director, officer, or shareholder, which must be completed to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s satisfaction, as outlined in Section 11.2 of the Franchise Agreement.
