Are taxes and delivery fees included in the estimated vehicle cost for a Zoomin Groomin franchise?
Zoomin_Groomin Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
The low-end is based on leasing a Vehicle at MSRP with the features we require and choosing the most economical upfitting package that is approved by us. The high-end is based on purchasing a new Vehicle for full MSRP with the features we require and the highest priced upfitting package we have approved. We may also permit you to purchase a used low-mileage vehicle in good condition, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld. The price you pay may depend on market conditions. Further, taxes and delivery fees are not included with this total and will vary depending on your location. We make no guarantee regarding the availability of a suitable vehicle, financing, nor do we finance any portion of the vehicle expense.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, taxes and delivery fees are not included in the estimated vehicle cost. The FDD specifies that these costs will vary depending on the franchisee's location. This means that prospective franchisees should factor in additional expenses for taxes and delivery when budgeting for their initial investment.
The cost of a vehicle for a Zoomin Groomin franchise ranges from $9,274 to $130,000. The low end of this estimate is based on leasing a vehicle at MSRP with the required features and the most economical upfitting package. The high end is based on purchasing a new vehicle for full MSRP with the required features and the highest-priced upfitting package. The FDD notes that franchisees may be able to purchase a used, low-mileage vehicle in good condition, subject to approval.
Given that taxes and delivery fees are not included in the estimated vehicle cost, it is crucial for potential Zoomin Groomin franchisees to research and understand the specific tax rates and delivery fees applicable to their location. This will help them create a more accurate budget and avoid unexpected expenses during the initial setup phase. The FDD recommends that franchisees arrange transport between dealers, vendors, and themselves, and includes an estimate for the cost of transportation fees in the high end of the total vehicle cost.
