What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor recommends that franchisees spend between $500 and $5,000 on initial advertising during the first three months of operation. This initial advertising should focus on local advertising and promotion of the franchised business.
In addition to the initial advertising, Zoomin Groomin recommends a minimum spend of $1,200 per year on local advertising. Franchisees are also required to contribute 2% of their gross revenues to the Advertising Fund. According to the document, the Advertising Fund is used for social media, text messages, other media placement, and marketing overhead.
While Zoomin Groomin provides recommendations and support for advertising, franchisees retain control over their advertising efforts.
