Upon the completion of the Term, or a renewal term as the case may be, if you are in compliance with this Agreement and meet other conditions for renewal, you may enter into a new contract, on the then current form of the Franchise Agreement. We will neither change your Territory nor Royalty rate in your renewals. The current form will not contain any changes of a material nature without your consent. If you wish to renew this Agreement, you must: notify us in writing at least 90 days before the expiration of this Agreement; and execute a general release of all claims you may have against us in our then current form.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Zoomin Groomin Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise term and renewal options are discussed on page 75. Specifically, Section 1.2.B addresses the conditions under which a franchisee can renew their agreement upon completion of the initial term.
To be eligible for renewal, a Zoomin Groomin franchisee must be in compliance with the existing Franchise Agreement. If the franchisee meets the conditions for renewal, they can enter into a new contract based on the then-current form of the Franchise Agreement. Zoomin Groomin assures that the territory and royalty rate will not change during renewals. Furthermore, any material changes to the current form of the agreement require the franchisee's consent.
To initiate the renewal process, the franchisee must notify Zoomin Groomin in writing at least 90 days before the expiration of the current agreement. Additionally, the franchisee must execute a general release of all claims they may have against Zoomin Groomin, using the franchisor's then-current release form.
