What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their general managers must attend and successfully complete the Initial Franchisee Training at least one week before operating the franchised business. Zoomin Groomin does not charge for this initial training. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses associated with attending the training.
This means that a prospective Zoomin Groomin franchisee needs to factor in the cost of travel and accommodation when budgeting for the initial setup of their franchise. It is important to attend the training, as it is a prerequisite for operating the franchise.
While the FDD specifies that initial training must occur at least one week before opening, it does not specify the exact duration of the training program itself. A prospective franchisee should confirm the exact length of the initial training course with Zoomin Groomin to adequately prepare for the time commitment.
