What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and any General Manager they employ must attend and successfully complete the Initial Franchisee Training. This training must be completed at least one week before the franchisee is allowed to operate the Zoomin Groomin franchised business.
The Initial Training course provided by Zoomin Groomin is a three-day course that covers the fundamental skills necessary to perform the services offered by the franchise. Zoomin Groomin offers this training once per month and suggests that franchisees complete the initial training within 60 days of the effective date of the franchise agreement.
Zoomin Groomin currently offers this training live in Virginia Beach, VA, but they may choose to offer it in other locations, or via interactive video conference or webinar. While Zoomin Groomin does not charge for the training itself, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, transportation, lodging, and meal costs incurred while attending the training. Successful completion of the Initial Training is mandatory.
