Does the Zoomin Groomin Franchise Agreement include an on-site training fee?

According to the 2025 Zoomin Groomin FDD, franchisees may incur costs for on-site training. While the initial training for the franchisee and any general manager is provided without a fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own travel and living expenses to attend this initial training.

However, if a Zoomin Groomin franchisee requests on-site services, they are obligated to pay for the travel and living expenses incurred by Zoomin Groomin staff to provide that on-site support. This means that while the initial training itself is free, any additional, requested on-site training will come with associated costs for the franchisee.

This is a fairly standard practice in franchising. Franchisors often cover the direct costs of initial training but pass on travel and lodging expenses to the franchisee.
