What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Zoomin Groomin Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement includes several additional agreements and exhibits that elaborate on specific aspects of the franchise relationship. These include a Non-Disclosure Agreement, which protects Zoomin Groomin's confidential information, and a Telephone & Internet Assignment Agreement, which outlines the transfer of listings upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement.
The franchise agreement also refers to schedules, such as Schedule 1, which defines the franchisee's territory, and mentions the use of Zoomin Groomin's Marks in accordance with their Manual. These references indicate that the complete understanding of the franchisee's obligations and rights requires consideration of these additional documents and manuals.
Furthermore, the FDD itself summarizes certain provisions of the Franchise Agreement and other information. It emphasizes the importance of carefully reading the Franchise Disclosure Document and all associated agreements. This suggests that the initial franchise agreement is supplemented by other documents that contain important details about the franchise operation, trademarks, and termination conditions.
In summary, a prospective Zoomin Groomin franchisee should be aware that the franchise agreement is not a standalone document but is part of a larger set of documents that collectively define the terms and conditions of the franchise. It is crucial to review all exhibits, schedules, and related agreements, such as the Non-Disclosure Agreement and Telephone & Internet Assignment Agreement, to fully understand the scope of the franchise relationship and the franchisee's obligations.
