What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you have a General Manager, they must attend and successfully complete the Initial Franchisee Training. This training must be completed at least one week before you can operate the Zoomin Groomin Franchised Business.
Zoomin Groomin does not charge for the Initial Training program itself. However, as a franchisee, you are responsible for covering the travel and living expenses, such as lodging and food, for yourself and your General Manager to attend the training.
The Initial Training is held in Virginia Beach, another designated training center, or online, at Zoomin Groomin's choosing, and it takes place over a three-day period. The training program is supervised by Sandy Stow and Faith Leek, who also serve as instructors. The instructional material includes the Manual, lectures, demonstrations, discussions, practice and forms.
Zoomin Groomin also requires that if the franchisee is an entity, its principals must attend Initial Training. Furthermore, Zoomin Groomin may offer and require attendance at additional training and seminars, either live or electronically, for which the franchisee must cover any associated travel and living expenses.
