Continuation of your territorial rights does not depend on achieving a certain sales volume, market penetration, or other contingency, and we may not alter your franchise Territory, even if there is a population increase in your Territory. However, your right to operate a Franchised Business in the Territory are subject to certain rights reserved by us. We, our parent, and our affiliates reserve all rights not expressly granted in the Franchise Agreement. For example, we, our parent, and our affiliates have the right to:
- (a) use other channels of distribution, such as the Internet, catalog sales, telemarketing, or other direct marketing sales, to solicit or accept customers within your Territory using our principal trademarks (or another trademark) without any compensation to you;
- (b) to implement cross-territorial protocols and other guidelines applicable to such situations as group advertising buys by multiple franchisees which may extend into multiple territories, solicitation of orders of individuals who may reside in one Territory, yet work in another, and other cross-territorial situations;
- (c) to establish and operate, and grant rights to others to establish and operate a Franchised Business or similar businesses at any locations outside of the Territory and on any terms and conditions we deem appropriate;

According to Zoomin Groomin's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company will not alter a franchisee's territory, even if there is a population increase. The franchisee's right to operate in the territory is subject to certain rights reserved by Zoomin Groomin. These rights include the ability to use other channels of distribution, implement cross-territorial protocols, and establish businesses outside the franchisee's territory.
The territory granted to a Zoomin Groomin franchisee is a specific geographic region defined by zip codes, natural, or political boundaries, as outlined in the Franchise Agreement. The territory will have a minimum population of approximately 125,000 residents, based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau or reliable mapping software. Franchisees must operate at least one vehicle in their territory but can operate more if desired.
Zoomin Groomin grants franchisees an exclusive territory, meaning the company will not establish a company-owned or franchised outlet selling similar goods or services under the same trademarks within that area. Franchisees may only operate their vehicle within their designated territory. Relocation of the franchised business may be approved if Zoomin Groomin believes conditions have changed to make it a sound business decision. Franchisees cannot accept orders from consumers outside their territory or use other distribution channels to make sales outside their territory without prior written permission from Zoomin Groomin, which may be granted or denied at their sole discretion.
