Answer from 2025 FDD Document

This Agreement may be executed by the parties in this Agreement in separate counterparts, each of which when so executed and delivered will be an original, but all such counterparts will together constitute but one and the same instrument. The Agreement may be signed and delivered electronically via email, facsimile or other means, which will each have the same legal effect as if signed in hardcopy with traditional ink.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Zoomin Groomin Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement can be executed in counterparts and allows for electronic signatures. This means that the agreement does not require all parties to sign the same physical document; instead, they can sign separate copies (counterparts), which together constitute the complete agreement. Furthermore, Zoomin Groomin permits the use of electronic signatures, including email and facsimile, which have the same legal effect as traditional ink signatures on a hard copy.

For a prospective Zoomin Groomin franchisee, this offers flexibility and convenience in the signing process. It eliminates the need for physical meetings or mailing documents, streamlining the execution of the franchise agreement. This can be particularly beneficial for franchisees who are located at a distance from the franchisor or have time constraints.

The inclusion of electronic signatures reflects a modern approach to contract execution, aligning with current business practices. Franchisees should ensure they have the necessary technology and understand the procedures for electronic signing to take advantage of this option. It is also advisable to confirm with Zoomin Groomin any specific requirements or preferred methods for electronic signature to ensure compliance and avoid potential delays.
