What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Stretch Zone's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Vice President of the DMA Cooperative assumes all duties and powers of the President in their absence, death, inability, or refusal to act. When acting in place of the President, the Vice President is subject to the same restrictions as the President. Additionally, the Vice President, along with the President, Secretary, and Treasurer, is responsible for generally supervising and controlling all business affairs of the DMA Cooperative.
Beyond these specific duties in the President's absence, the Vice President also has ongoing responsibilities. They work with the President, Secretary, and Treasurer to oversee the DMA Cooperative's business matters. The Vice President also performs other duties that may be assigned by the President or the Members of the Cooperative.
For a prospective Stretch Zone franchisee, this means that serving as Vice President of the DMA Cooperative requires a commitment to potentially fulfill all the responsibilities of the President, should the need arise. It also involves collaborative oversight of the Cooperative's business affairs and a willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned. This role demands a good understanding of the Cooperative's operations and the ability to step into a leadership position when necessary.
