What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Stretch Zone's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the grand opening plan, Stretch Zone provides promotional support to introduce the new franchise business to the community. This support, which is provided approximately three weeks before and three weeks after the franchise opens, includes social media scheduling and posting, email scheduling and sending, photography, press release writing and promotion, and print assets. Stretch Zone also provides grand opening assets like a ribbon and scissors, along with tools such as a tripod and Bluetooth microphone to help capture content. The franchisee is responsible for implementing the grand opening plan as outlined in the Operations Manual and must pay a Grand Opening Fee of $14,950, as detailed in Item 6 of the FDD.
In addition to the promotional support offered by Stretch Zone, franchisees are required to spend a minimum of $2,000 per month on local advertising within their designated market area (DMA). All local advertising materials must be submitted to Stretch Zone for approval, unless the materials have been previously approved or are provided by Stretch Zone. Franchisees must ensure that all materials containing Stretch Zone's intellectual property include the appropriate designations (service marksm, trademark™, registered®, or copyright©).
It is important to note that franchisees cannot engage in social media concerning their Stretch Zone franchise without prior written consent from the company. Furthermore, franchisees are required to purchase social media management software from a designated supplier, and all content posted on social media regarding Stretch Zone belongs to the company. This highlights the level of control Stretch Zone maintains over its brand's image and messaging, even at the local level.
