What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Stretch Zone Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to secure insurance through R.V. Johnson Insurance as their designated insurance agent. However, Stretch Zone does not specify whether they will obtain insurance on your behalf or if you will handle it directly with the agent. The FDD states that the method and timing of payments is a matter determined between the franchisee and their insurer.
The estimated cost for insurance ranges from $1,750 to $4,000, payable as a lump sum before beginning business. This cost is an estimate based on rates in effect in Florida, and the actual cost may vary depending on factors such as the carrier selected, the size and location of the premises, the value of leasehold improvements, the amount of inventory, and the amount of wages paid. The cost of workers' compensation insurance also varies from state to state.
Given that Stretch Zone mandates the use of a specific insurance agent, it is important for prospective franchisees to discuss the payment process and invoicing details directly with R.V. Johnson Insurance. Understanding these details will help in accurately budgeting for the initial investment and ongoing operational costs of the Stretch Zone franchise.
