Answer from 2025 FDD Document

reasonable efforts to negotiate agreements with Approved Suppliers that are in the best interest of all Franchise Businesses. In approving suppliers for the Business System, we may take into consideration factors like the price and quality of the products or services and the supplier's reliability. We may concentrate purchases with 1 or more suppliers to obtain the lowest prices and/or the best advertising support and/or services for any group of Franchised Units or Company-Owned Units. Approval of a supplier may be conditioned on requirements on the frequency of delivery, standards of service, warranty policies including prompt attention to complaints, and concentration of purchases, as stated above, and may be temporary, pending our additional evaluation of the supplier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Stretch Zone's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the approval of a supplier can be temporary. This temporary approval is pending additional evaluation of the supplier by Stretch Zone. This means that even if a supplier is initially approved, Stretch Zone may still be assessing their performance and adherence to standards.

Stretch Zone may impose conditions on supplier approval, such as requirements for delivery frequency, service standards, warranty policies, and purchase concentration. These conditions ensure that suppliers meet Stretch Zone's expectations for quality and reliability. The initial approval may be temporary until Stretch Zone confirms that the supplier consistently meets these requirements.

Stretch Zone also reserves the right to re-inspect the facilities and products of any approved supplier and sample the products at the supplier's expense. If a supplier fails to continue meeting Stretch Zone's standards and specifications, Stretch Zone can revoke the approval. Franchisees will receive written notification of approval or disapproval within 7 days after Stretch Zone investigates and inspects the supplier. This ongoing evaluation helps Stretch Zone maintain quality control and protect the brand's reputation.

For a prospective Stretch Zone franchisee, this means that the list of approved suppliers is subject to change. Franchisees should stay informed about any updates to the approved supplier list and be prepared to switch suppliers if Stretch Zone revokes approval from a current supplier. This also highlights the importance of adhering to Stretch Zone's standards and specifications when sourcing products and services for the franchise.
