STRETCH ZONE AREA DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
THIS AREA DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT is signed on
Source: Item 8 — Receipts. Any sale made must be in compliance with § 683(8) of the Franchise Sale Act (N.Y. Gen. Bus. L. § 680 et seq.), which describes the time period a Franchise Disclosure Document (offering prospectus) must be provided to a prospective franchisee before a sale may be made. New York law requires a franchisor to provide the Franchise Disclosure Document at the earliest of the first personal meeting or ten (10) business days before the execution of the franchise or other agreement or the payment of any consideration that relates to the franchise relationship. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Stretch Zone's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific date on which the Area Development Agreement is signed is the date the agreement becomes effective. This date is to be written on the cover page of the agreement.
For a prospective Stretch Zone developer, this means that all obligations and rights under the agreement begin as of the date entered on the cover page. This includes the developer's rights to develop and open franchise locations within the designated development area, as well as Stretch Zone's obligations to provide support and training.
It is important for the franchisee to note this date carefully, as it marks the commencement of the agreement's term and the beginning of their responsibilities for developing the agreed-upon number of Stretch Zone locations according to the development schedule.
