What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee must ensure the business has a dedicated phone line if the franchisor elects that this be the case. Specifically, Spray Net has the option to require that the franchised business has a phone line used exclusively for business purposes.
In addition to maintaining a dedicated phone line if required, the franchisee must also ensure the business is listed in Internet-based directories and Chambers of Commerce that Spray Net designates. The franchisee is also required to obtain at least three telephone numbers solely for the franchised business, which can be assigned to Spray Net at their option upon termination, expiration, or transfer of the Franchise Agreement.
Spray Net also requires the franchisee to list and advertise the phone number(s) for the franchised business in both the "White pages" and "yellow pages" directories within their trade area, under categories specified by Spray Net. Furthermore, the franchisee must place classified directory advertisements and listings together with other Spray Net businesses operating within the same distribution area. If a joint listing is obtained, the costs of all advertisements and listings will be shared pro rata among the listed Spray Net businesses.
Spray Net also requires franchisees to list and/or advertise with Spray Net and other franchisees on electronic yellow pages directories and other online directories designated by Spray Net, including platforms like Google Local, Google Business, and Angie's List. If a franchisee fails to comply with Spray Net's requests regarding online listings or advertisements, Spray Net reserves the right to place, modify, or remove such listings and advertisements on behalf of the franchisee.
