What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a "Spray-Net Business" is defined as a business that offers and provides various types of painting-related products and services that Spray Net authorizes, including proprietary products and corresponding services to existing residential homes, referred to as "Clients".
Spray Net's system encompasses proprietary methodology and procedures for the establishment and operation of a Spray-Net Business. This includes standards and specifications for supplies, inventory, and methodology for storing, preparing, offering, and providing approved products and services. It also covers advertising, marketing, equipment standards, custom-designed chemicals, and basic standards for the business premises.
Furthermore, the Spray Net system includes specifications for furniture, fixtures, equipment (including computer hardware and systems), relationships with approved suppliers for certain products and services, proprietary training programs, confidential operations manuals, and standards for advertising, bookkeeping, and sales. Spray Net retains the right to modify the System as it deems appropriate.
For a prospective franchisee, this definition highlights the comprehensive support and standardization offered by Spray Net. However, it also implies that franchisees must adhere to Spray Net's prescribed methods and standards, with limited flexibility to deviate from the established system. Franchisees should be aware that Spray Net can modify the system, potentially requiring them to adapt to new procedures or invest in updated equipment or supplies.
