What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Spray Net Franchise Disclosure Document, SN Quebec licenses Spray Net the right to use, and sublicense to its franchisees in the United States, the Proprietary Marks and System. This is significant because it establishes the legal foundation for Spray Net to grant franchisees the right to operate under the Spray Net brand and utilize its established business methods. Without this license from SN Quebec, Spray Net would not have the authority to allow franchisees in the U.S. to use the brand's trademarks and operational system.
This licensing agreement is a crucial element of the Spray Net franchise structure. It ensures that franchisees are operating legally under the brand's intellectual property. It also allows Spray Net to maintain consistency and quality across all franchised locations, as franchisees are required to adhere to the System that SN Quebec has licensed to Spray Net.
Prospective franchisees should understand the importance of this licensing agreement. It confirms that Spray Net has the legal right to offer franchises in the United States. Franchisees should also ensure that they fully understand the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement, including the specific rights and obligations related to the use of the Proprietary Marks and System. This understanding will help them operate their franchise successfully and avoid any potential legal issues related to intellectual property rights.
