What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Spray Net Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise system has established relationships with approved or designated suppliers for certain products and services that franchisees must utilize. These include proprietary and/or branded items. Spray Net may offer franchisees information regarding new products, services, or suppliers, as well as updated business methods. Franchisees may be required to purchase private label products or other merchandise bearing Spray Net's Proprietary Marks from Spray Net or any other Approved Supplier that Spray Net designates.
Spray Net's System includes standards and specifications for the supplies, inventory, and methodology associated with storing, preparing, offering, and providing each type of Approved Product and Approved Service. It also encompasses standards and specifications for equipment and custom-designed chemicals and equipment. These standards ensure consistency and quality across all Spray Net franchises.
Spray Net retains the right to revise, supplement, or modify the lists of approved suppliers and the Manuals at any time upon written notice to the franchisee. Additionally, Spray Net may establish and maintain a website portal or other intranet, where they can post content that automatically becomes part of, and constitutes a supplement to, the Manuals. Franchisees must strictly comply with this content promptly after it is posted. This allows Spray Net to maintain control over the supply chain and ensure that franchisees are using approved products and services that meet the company's standards.
While the FDD excerpts detail Spray Net's ability to designate and approve suppliers, the document does not specify the exact requirements that these suppliers must meet to gain or maintain approval. A prospective franchisee should ask Spray Net for more information about the criteria and process for supplier approval, including any quality control measures, insurance requirements, or other standards that suppliers must adhere to.
